To meet this need, we offer SMS services designed to keep you informed and connected. We use SMS to send you important updates, alerts, and information directly to your mobile device. Our goal is to provide reliable and accessible communication channels, whether through our mass notification system using 855-641-5322.
Mass Notifications
Through our partnership with Finalsite, a leader in educational communication systems—we use SMS to send important updates, alerts, and information directly to your mobile device. This service ensures that you are always in the know, whether it's a school closure, emergency alert, or district-wide announcement.
- Program Description: GCA collaborates with Finalsite, a leading provider of mass notification systems in the education sector. This partnership allows us to proactively reach out to you via voice, text, and email. This service is designed to send informational alerts and other important communications through SMS text messaging using 855-641-5322.
- Program Frequency: The frequency of messages varies based on needs and specific situations requiring notifications.
- Opt-out: At any time, you may opt out of receiving messages by texting "STOP" to 855-641-5322. Upon doing so, you will receive a confirmation SMS confirming your opt-out. If you wish to re-subscribe, text “START” to 855-641-5322 to begin receiving messages again.
- Help: For assistance or more information about this service, text "HELP" to 855-641-5322, or send an email to webmaster@georgiacyber.org.
- Carriers Participation: This service includes participation from various carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile®, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Alltel, Boost, U.S. Cellular™, and MetroPCS, among others. Note that these carriers are not responsible for any delayed or undelivered messages.
- Costs: Standard message and data rates may apply to each text message sent and received through this service. Please consult your mobile service provider for your data and message plan details.

SMS Messaging
If you have consented to receive text messages by completing a web form, you may receive SMS messages from GCA. These messages may include responses to online inquiries, real-time texts to ask and answer questions about our services, appointment confirmations, or self-initiated text messaging.
SMS Consent Communication: The information obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Types of SMS Communications: If you have consented to receive text messages from Georgia Cyber Academy, you may receive messages related to the following:
- Real-Time Texts to ask and answer questions about our services

- Self initiated Text Messaging
- Appointment / Event reminders

Potential Fees for SMS Messaging: Please note that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier’s pricing plan. These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.
Opt-In Method: You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Georgia Cyber Academy in the following ways:
- Verbally, during a conversation
- By submitting an online form
- By filling out a paper form
Opt-Out Method:
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, simply reply "STOP" to any SMS message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list.
