“Important Graduation Information – Diploma Verification.”
This email will be sent by the close of business on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
✅ Your email includes the name that will be printed on your diploma.
✅ Complete the attached form exactly as directed.
Important Reminders:

• Your diploma must show your legal name as it appears on your birth certificate and Infinite Campus transcript.
• If your name is incorrect, select “No” on the form. Contact your FEL to update your name in Infinite Campus by December 5, 2025. Name changes may require documentation.
• If you update Infinite Campus but do not select “No,” your diploma will be printed with the name in this email.
• Changes after December 5, 2025 will require you to order a replacement diploma as an alumni.
• Students enrolled or promoted after the deadline will have their diploma printed with the name on file at enrollment/promotion.
• Failure to complete the form means your diploma will automatically be printed with the name on record as of August 29, 2025.

GCA Student Council is excited to announce that we are officially opening voting for the Class of 2026 Senior shirt! So... pick your favorite of the two designs and make sure to cast your vote! Voting will open on 10/30 and close on 11/6 at 4 PM! On 11/11, a newsletter with the winning senior shirt design and a link to order your shirt will be sent out to all seniors! Vote Now!

Honors Graduates

• Summa Cum Laude: Graduates who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 4.0 or better and have at least two units of Advanced Placement or Dual Enrollment courses.

• Magna Cum Laude: Graduates who have maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.75 – 3.99 and have at least two units of Advanced Placement or Dual Enrollment courses.

• Cum Laude: Graduates who have maintained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.75.

• Valedictorian s the summa cum laude graduate who has the highest GPA.

• Salutatorian is the summa cum laude graduate who has the second highest GPA. 

*2nd semester senior grades excluded from calculations
