GCA Teen Retreat – Jekyll Island, GA

The GCA Teen Retreat is a three-day, in-person experience designed for teens and recent graduates to connect, build community, and participate in engaging activities on beautiful Jekyll Island. This retreat will take place May 21–May 23 and is open to rising 9th graders through recent graduates.

Informational Sessions

Families are encouraged to attend one informational session to learn more about the retreat:

  • Session 1: Monday, January 12 at 11:45 a.m.

  • Session 2: Tuesday, January 27 at 4:00 p.m.

  • Session 3: Thursday, February 19 at 11:45 a.m.

  • Session 4: Monday, March 2 at 11:45 a.m.

General Reminders:

  • Please update the General Reminders section to the following:

  • All programs offered are free and open only to GCA high school students and recent graduates.

  • There is a toll to enter Jekyll Island. The cost is $10.00 per day, payable at the toll machines. Parking is free throughout the island.

  • Jekyll Island is approximately a 5-hour drive from Atlanta. Please plan your trip accordingly.

  • Students may be dropped off and picked up daily. Multiple chaperones will be on-site, and all GCA and site safety guidelines will be followed.

  • All required forms are due by May 1.

If cancellation is necessary, it must be completed by May 1 to allow other students the opportunity to attend.
