Paddle across the water on pedal boats, bounce to your heart’s content on inflatables, and challenge friends to pickleball, cornhole, limbo, or volleyball. Or, if relaxation is more your style, just kick back in the sand and soak up the sunshine. However you choose to spend the day, the beach is calling your name—don’t miss out! Parking is $5 per vehicle. Capacity is up to 1,000!

Looking for something more laid-back? Tap into your creative side with arts & crafts or get messy making slime. Plus, enjoy delicious bites from on-site food trucks available for lunch. Join us for a full day at the park! We will have fun in nature at the newly built Delay Nature Park in Suwanee! Check out the activities we will enjoy during our time there: field games, DJ, nature hike, photo booth, playground, and so much more! This event is free for all attendees and open to all ages. Be sure to pack a lunch, dress for the outdoors, and bring the entire family for field day fun in nature! There are no pets allowed at this event. Capacity is up to 500!

Please login your session no more than 5 minutes prior to the start time.  Some sessions will have waiting rooms and will allow you in at the start time.

No, classes are canceled but you may see that in the time of your elective there are sessions that the teachers have set up for you to have fun and interact with them.

No, it is optional, but we would love to see you at any of the sessions during the day.  You can float around and join virtual sessions that interest you.  In person events require a registration which must be registered for in advance and may fill based on spacing.

Here are some fun items you can do if you choose to go outdoors on your own.  There are also links listed to locations across the state you can venture out to and enjoy GCA Fall Community Day! Visit a park.  Look for putt putt golf, birding, orienteering, bike riding, frisbee, soccer, football, paddle boats, picnic, scavenger hunts and more! Visit the beach.  Make sandcastles, sift the sand to find fun items and shells, frisbee, swim, surf, play volleyball and more.  Check out this AJC article for beaches in Georgia: New list names these Georgia beaches as the best in the state.

Yes, all in-person Community Day locations have capacity limits due to permitting, site capacities, and or budget limitations.

In order to register for in-person Community Day, you must first select your first and second choice preference using this registration form. As we approach closer to Community Day, the event host will reach out to you asking you to confirm your family's attendance at this location via the email you provided on the registration form. Only families who confirm their attendance with the event host will receive an official confirmation with all of the event details and notes.

If you select an event that has been waitlisted as your first choice then you are adding your family to the waitlist of the location. The event host will contact you via email if space becomes available at that location. If the event host does not reach out to you, you are not confirmed to attend Community Day at that location.
