Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! We are excited to partner with our students and families as we begin another year of learning, growth, and success.

This month's newsletter highlights the many ways the SGB Counseling Department supports students. Inside, you'll find information about grade-level counseling services, Dual Enrollment, Work-Based Learning, CTAE pathways, scholarship opportunities, SAT/ACT resources, and programs designed to help students prepare for life after high school. You'll also meet our counseling and social work teams, learn about upcoming advisement topics, and discover support groups and resources available to students and families throughout the year. We encourage you to explore each section, mark important dates on your calendar, and reach out to your student's counselor whenever you have questions. We look forward to working together to make this a successful and rewarding school year for every Champion!
