Happy New Year, K–5 Champions! Your K-5 Counseling January Newsletter Is Now Available!

Be sure to check it out for helpful resources, tips, and updates to support our students and families as we start the new year.

We are searching for talented Seniors! If you can sing, play an instrument or dance we would like you to audition for our 2026 Graduation Ceremony on May 16, 2026.

If you are interested, please complete the survey and upload your video. The Deadline is March 27, 2026. If chosen, you will receive an email notification by April 24, 2026. See how to submit your audition and other senior updates here.

Students are invited to join Read with Malcolm, a FREE global reading challenge where students compete to log the most reading minutes.

Any reading counts—anytime, anywhere—and students simply submit their minutes weekly by Sunday night to help GCA compete for the title of World Champions of Reading! 📚🏆🏈

As we head into winter break, the Special Education Department would like to extend warm wishes to all of our families for a relaxing and enjoyable winter break. We are grateful for our partnership with you and look forward to welcoming everyone back in January.

As the year comes to a close, our LIFE staff would like to share warm holiday wishes with our families. We hope the break brings time to slow down, and create meaningful memories with loved ones. Thank you for your continued support and for entrusting us with your amazing students, who bring joy and inspiration to our school each day. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2026 rested, renewed, and ready for an exciting year ahead!

GCA District Parent Advisory Council (PAC) Members are to act as positive ambassadors for all of GCA, offering meaningful input that supports and strengthens the experiences of our students and their families. The primary focus for PAC members is to increase parent and family engagement, ensuring student academic success.

These dedicated readers are invited to a special celebration on December 16th at 1:00 PM.

The survey includes Cognia feedback questions along with an opportunity to share your thoughts on our FY26 CLIP goals and action steps. GCA registered parents, learning coaches and community members, your November English Literacy class recordings are now available to watch anytime! Your homework can be easily downloaded, completed, and emailed to your teacher for encouraging feedback. Plus, you can now register to access the class curriculum books.
