Advanced Placement (AP) Informational Meeting Recording
Secondary (Grades 9-12) GCA Secretary of State Ambassadors
Attention GCA Secondary Grade Students: Money Talks is led by a moderator and panel of Georgia speakers from various financial sectors to educate students on practical money skills, including Budgeting and Saving, Investing, Maximizing Income, Credit and Loans, and Minimizing the Cost of College. In-person and online options are available. Check your GCA Gmail for registration information.
Write Score and Net Tutor
Students will be taking the WriteScore assessment during the week of February 3. To help your child prepare and feel confident, please encourage them to practice their writing skills. Supporting them with any writing tasks for their classes can be very helpful.
Additionally, NetTutor offers services to assist students in building their writing skills. With personalized help, students can improve their writing competency and boost their confidence. Thank you for your support in helping your child succeed! Reach out to your student's teacher if you need additional information.

It's Time to Read
READBowl is a FREE global reading competition for PreK-12th grade aged teams around the globe compete to read for the most minutes. How do you earn minutes? READ!

All reading counts.
The first quarter begins Monday, January 13 at 8:00 am and ends on Sunday, January 19 at 11:59 pm. Submit your reading minutes once per week by midnight each Sunday using this Submission Form.
The ReadBowl runs through Sunday, February 9 at 11:59 pm. Complete the submission form each Sunday by midnight. Details on our school-age team's reading minutes will be posted in Champ Chatter.

GCA PTSO Facebook Moderators Needed
Volunteers are needed to support GCA PTSO Facebook pages.
Would you like to volunteer and currently use social media?
The PTSO is looking for Facebook page moderators. Duties include ensuring members on the GCA Family internal page are following the member rules like being kind, and not selling merchandise. We would also like you to have engagement activities/polls/joke of the week. Items that would engage other GCA families who are members of the Regional Facebook Group. Be sure to select the option to be a Facebook page moderator
