Georgia Cyber Academy is now offering a secure website for student academic records requests. (Special Education Records are released from the Special Education Department. Information regarding requests for Special Education records, please see below.)

Student Records RequesT Website

Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian, or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person. Charges will apply when ordering former student records. ​​​​​​​

For onsite records pick up from the District Office, we ask to make an appointment (with a minimum of 24 hours notice) so the records will be ready upon your arrival. Speak with one of our Enrollment & Records Specialists sharing your information and your student's information when making your appointment. When you arrive, you will be asked to provide a copy of your photo ID and will be asked to fill out a Parent Request form from the Front Desk.

Student Academic Records Requests

Please allow a minimum of 5-7 business days to fulfill your request. During heavy enrollment and records seasons (July - September and April - May), please allow us up to 14 business days for processing.

For all records requested through our Student Records Request website, emails notifying you of the status of your records request order will be sent from scribOnline@scribsoft.com.  It is important you read those emails carefully as additional information may be required to process your request.

Parents and/or Guardians may authorize Georgia Cyber Academy to release student records to another school or academic program by completing and submitting the Parent Release of Special Education Student Records Authorization Form.  Please submit form by email or fax:

PARENT RELEASE OF Special Education STUDENT RECORDS AUTHORIZATION

For any change to your students account (change in student/ legal guardian name, phone number, email, or change of guardianship, please email your Family Engagement Liaison (FEL) to start the process of the change.

For an Address Change, please read this article and submit your address change through our Student and Family Help Center ticket system.

Georgia Cyber Academy is a tuition free public school offering Georgia students quality and exceptional education. Families must physically stay in the state of Georgia to be considered for enrollment. Please allow a minimum of 5 - 7 business days to process your enrollment application or receive a reply to email or voice message inquiries. During heavy enrollment and records seasons (July - September and April - May), please allow us up to 14 business days for processing.

It’s strongly encouraged that you follow the online enrollment steps for faster processing and handling; however, we welcome families who prefer to apply in person.

To apply in person, please make an appointment (with a minimum of 24 hours notice) so the enrollment team will be ready for your arrival. When you arrive, the Front Desk will notify our team of your arrival.  During your appointment, you will speak with one of our Enrollment & Records Specialists to share your information including your enrolling student’s names and grade level. Please bring all required enrollment documents so they can be copied and placed with your enrollment application.

Please note that if your student's grade level is on a current waitlist, you will have to wait to receive a seat before you can apply for enrollment in person.
