One of our GCA Champions, Madison, is a dedicated young artist with her very own online store and social media profiles where she showcases her work. With the help of her family, she began her online store "The Hero Draws" this past January, and is excited about continuing it in the future.
Madison shares "I always loved art and creating things. I started with a Facebook and Instagram group Kids Arts Challenge (with my parents) to share my love of art with other kids in 2017." Madison creates original and commissioned work in both digital and print mediums. She states "People started to reach out to me to buy my pieces and I was happy to share it with others. My mom helped me set up my online store. I also wanted to show my artwork to others. I like trying new styles and techniques. I not only do digital but I also do canvas artwork in various styles like acrylic, charcoal, watercolor, and oil pastels."
Madison has been a student at GCA since 2016, and shares that her class schedule allows her to be flexible with her art. "I love everything about GCA. I can go to school and create art right when I am done. I am currently enrolled in art class with Ms. Counts. I love my art class." After graduating from GCA, Madison aspires to attend SCAD (Savannah College for Arts and Design).
Thank you so much for sharing your story Madison! We are so proud of all that you have done and can't wait to see your future work. If you want to check out Madison's art, visit theherodraws.com.
