From GCA to Center Stage: The BoykinZ Shine on America’s Got Talent

Georgia Cyber Academy (GCA) is celebrating a proud moment as The BoykinZ, a talented group of sisters with deep ties to our school community, received the Golden Buzzer on the 20th season of America’s Got Talent (AGT)! Their standout performance of their original song, “Fell In Love With A Cowboy,” captivated the judges and audience, securing their spot in the show’s live episodes this fall.

Who Are The BoykinZ?

The BoykinZ are four talented sisters—Kylan, Anale, Nytere, and Alona—who are blazing a new trail in country music with a fresh, vibrant sound. Three of the sisters are GCA graduates, and one is currently completing high school with us. Their journey from virtual classes to viral videos, and now to a national stage, is a story of dedication, family, and fearless dreaming.

In a previous episode of GCA’s Hootworthy, The BoykinZ shared how GCA played a key role in their success. The flexibility of virtual learning allowed them to balance academics with rehearsals, travel, and performances. They credit GCA for helping them build not only their education but also their sisterly bond and musical collaboration.

From GCA’s Got Talent to America’s Got Talent

The BoykinZ have already performed at high-profile events, including:

• Singing the national anthem at a Miami Heat game

• Performing during a Texas rodeo halftime show

• Sharing the stage with Shania Twain during her Queen of Me tour

• Touring schools and inspiring other young artists

Now, with the Golden Buzzer in hand, they are taking their dreams even further. This honor means they will bypass the AGT audition rounds and go directly to the live competition episodes this fall on NBC.
