Georgia Cyber Academy is seeking additional public feedback for the revision of its plan for funds received through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) to address statewide learning loss and other school needs. The district will take this feedback into account to revise its plans for the use of ARP funds.
Currently, GCA’s plans for the funds include additional 2nd grade teachers, additional 7th & 8th SpEd Teachers, new speech pathologists, visitor management, academic interventionist specialists, PBIS, new behavior interventionist, paraprofessionals, hospital homebound coordinator, additional training and certifications for teachers in areas of need, additional teaching support for special education, and safety PPE equipment.
