The American Rescue Plan (ARP) - Plan Revision Feedback

The American Rescue Plan (ARP) - Plan Revision Feedback
Rebecca Andrews

Georgia Cyber Academy is seeking additional public feedback for the revision of its plan for funds received through the American Rescue Plan (ARP) to address statewide learning loss and other school needs. The district will take this feedback into account to revise its plans for the use of ARP funds.

Currently, GCA’s plans for the funds include additional tutoring, additional 2nd grade teachers, additional 7th & 8th SpEd Teachers, academic coaching and supports for teachers, new speech pathologist, visitor management, PBIS, new behavior interventionist, data & achievement coordinators, paraprofessionals, additional training and certifications for teachers in areas of need, additional teaching support for special education, safety PPE equipment, and staff retention incentives.

We ask that all interested stakeholders (students, families, educators, and community members) provide feedback by participating in this survey. GCA will seek this input every six months.
