Omolade K.., Georgia Cyber Academy Class of 2025 Valedictorian
Omolade has been a student at GCA since 7th grade and is graduating a year early thanks to her participation in dual enrollment. She began taking college courses at the University of West Georgia after 9th grade and will start their nursing program this June.
Originally from Massachusetts, Omolade moved to Georgia in 2020, just before the pandemic. During lockdown, she discovered a love for writing, which led her to win the Young Georgia Authors competition twice. She also enjoys sewing her own clothing, including vests and dresses.
A passionate traveler, Omolade has ridden horses in Chicago, visited the pyramids in Egypt, and spent time with family in Nigeria. She values time with loved ones and enjoys casual sports like tennis, minigolf, and frisbee. While she’ll miss GCA, she’s excited for the journey ahead.
