Families who meet the requirements listed below are eligible to receive either a hot spot or in special circumstances an ISP supplement checks to help off-set the cost of internet service for their student(s). Select the expand (+) icon on the help topic below for more information.
Eligibility for the Hot Spot / Internet Supplement Program is based Free and Reduced lunch status. The Free and Reduced Lunch status eligibility form is available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Instructions for completing the form can be found on our Internet Assistance page.
GCA T-Mobile Device Student Troubleshooting
Georgia Cyber Academy is partnering with T-Mobile to provide mobile internet connectivity. T-Mobile, takes pride in customer service and strives to meet customer’s needs.
First Time Connecting:
- Locate the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and Wi-Fi Password on the label inside the back cover of the device. Write these down for use during setup.
- Ensure the battery and SIM card are inserted:
- Hold the Power key for 2 seconds until all LED indicators illuminate.
- Connect your Wi-Fi device to your Mobile Hotspot.
- On your GCA computer, search for available Wi-Fi networks and select network name (SSID) located inside the back panel of your mobile hotspot.
- Enter password located inside the back panel, then click OK.
